The Great Sinner (1949)
Since today is the 25th anniversary of the sad day we lost the beautiful Ava Gardner, I figured it was a good night to watch one of her movies. I went with this one since I hadn't seen it and the cast was pretty good and it was directed by Siodmak.
Good movie overall, although it's and a bit confusing and akward to see the movie attempt to combine a tragic story about how gambling can make you lose it all, with a classic Hollywood lovestory that has to have a happy ending.
