Sorry but that movie was NOT horrid. It actually is the combined efforts of 15 years of work to bring an amazing book to life. Thus, translating to a deep and meaningful film adaptation, done perfectly. Sorry, I like my my "movies" to resemble art, not the other way around...

I feel bad if that's what they came up with making a book into a movie over 15 years. Was their budget next to nothing? And glad you summed up what my movie preference was based off me saying a slow boring movie was boring.

also your quote of liking your movies to resemble art also makes no sense, so I get it all now. The other way around would be me liking my art like movies? So like screen caps posted on the wall?

What you call a "slow boring movie" will show your ignorance and your lack of an long attention span. Michael Bay movies are that way --------->

My quote, dumbed down for you, means that people tend to account their "flavor of the month" filming exploits as something special or "artistic". This was clearly more than that.

I don't want to have to break down how to enjoy this movie through an artistic lens for you, but I will say that you clearly don't know what it means to appreciate the aspects of a films cinematography to enjoy your current "choice of entertainment".

Just saw Triangle (2009). This movie was a complete mind-fuck from beginning to end. Was decent psychological thriller.
