My last as well. I felt like the movie had potential but the ending and Diaz through the whole movie just left such a sour taste in my mouth.

I guess some people just don't get it. Meh. Book was amazing. Movie was amazing. Just like 'No Country For Old Men'. Author is brilliant. The Counselor 10/10.

One of those movies that resonates for some and falls flat for plenty of others. I just didn't find any of the characters as likable and I hated Diaz from the first moment I saw her. The movie left me wanting and that's never a good feeling when walking away from something that's done.

That end scene was probably the best if not close to the best scene of the movie, it all just felt so meaningless to me at that point and I found myself not caring at all.

If you hated Diaz, then she probably did a pretty good job acting, since her character is meant to be hated... There is a reason this author has like 8 books turned movies. He is clearly doing something right. I don't see how you couldn't have known what you were in for if you watched 'The Road' or 'No Country For Old Men'. Their pacing is very similar. The story always builds up to something amazing. I've appreciated the hell out of all his work, this was no exception.

To each their own man. I enjoyed the Road and I thought No Country was amazing, this just didn't do it for me. Maybe I need to read the book.

I mean, if you didn't like the movie... The book has pretty much the same tone. A little more detail. But, I guess I just found every single conversation in every scene fascinating. I thought it was very thought provoking and executed superbly.

Edge of Tomorrow (2014)

I really liked it. I'm a sucker for pseudo-apocalyptic films.

Divergent (2014)

Pretty much exactly what i expected. Yet another film with a meek female protagonist that toughens up after a generic montage of lame training exercises.

That being said, it was a fun movie with a well used but still entertaining premise.
:P

lmao haven't seen it but thats pretty much what i was expecting.

re-watched taxi driver. greeeeat
