Tl;Dr version Amazon is using paid actors and giving them scripts to boost their ratings. The fat guy just did some fact checking. I spent about 1 min with fast forward

Ah I see. Ya it sounded like that from the start but I cant say it's the least bit surprising. Seems like theyd be doing that for most shows/movies tbh.

This show is trash propaganda, just like all the other modern girl/minority power shows and movies.

Last episode was "more bad than good" but still enough good to justify my time watching.

I had to mute the tv during the Galadriel girl-power scene to get through it. But the Harfoots plot is good.

As for the other 2, it was nice to see them coalesce into something more coherent so I can understand where they are headed. But it still comes off as a thinly-veiled excuse to showcase visuals, which is a terrible design for a show.

I had the first episode on in the background, didn't like it, corny, but I'm no LOTR fan. Haven't read the books, & only the first movie was a good one in my opinion.

Second episode was alright. Third, fourth had on in the background. Like a mediocre theatre, bad but i guess watchable. I think the acting is pretty rabdom, some do ok,even good and some is like the average small theatre with a crowd of 20. Just not buying it. 5/10 overall. Good attempt tho i bet many still finds it entertaining in these fantasy environments.

The cities and scenery is still cool.

Honestly the show is fine. Good scenery, decent soundtrack at times. Acting and story so far is mediocre. I couldn't care less about the source material, despite being a fan. I just want a good show. I would not call this show great, I'd just call it fine , but has the chance to develop into something great.

i watched a few episodes and now im extremely triggered
