Forbidden Games (1952)

Not bad, typically I dislike films that star children but this one did a decent job. I didn't really like the ending though.

Oh, I also saw the remake of Carrie yesterday. Movie was meh.

The Conjuring (2013)
Never really been a fan of horror films; don't enjoy fear or being on edge. Really didn't mind this though despite the few segments that were extremely predictable and cliche. Found it interesting that without sex, language or even much gore it was able to attain an "R" rating due to just being "scary."

Maniac (2012)
Haven't seen the original but I'm sure I'll try to find the time soon. Thought Elijah Wood did a great job even though a majority of the film is POV and I found myself entertained the entire way though. Very graphic, very tour-de-force.

Saw these two today:

Blast of Silence (1961)

Damned good noir film with a bunch of interesting stories behind its production (I also watched a documentary on the making of this film afterwards) that had damned fine narration in the second person, which I don't think I've ever seen before.

Shenandoah (1965)

Jimmy Stewart is the most wholesome man who ever lived lol.

Watched The Internship (2013) this morning since I had to stay up all night.

Honestly, I thought it was a very pretty movie. Had a lot of good shots, particularly around the Google HQ and on the lake, that really made the areas they were in seem pleasant. Gotta give kudos to whoever framed some of those shots. Story-wise it is the same shit you've seen a million times, to be honest, Vince Vaughan and Owen Wilson do their thing, there's a romantic sub-plot, enemies become friends, etc., etc. Enjoyable though.
