Yea I read many reviews saying the same, however I thought the length was fine. Lots of people moaned about the third arc being pointless and too cliche, but the whole film was about the sins of our fathers so it made sense to end it with the next generation

The Master - good stuff
The Raid - shaky regarding plot and dialogue and whatnot, but zomg fightscenes. Also gets extra points for not forcing in some bullshit love-interest.
True Grit - was decent enough to keep me watching, but nothing stellar.
Animal Kingdom - for some reason I was expecting a gang movie, don't ask me why. Had some really good scenes.
Lincoln Lawyer - amusing but nothing I'd rewatch.
