Fight scene over the glasses made that movie for me. Just put on the fucking glasses man.

Four rooms.

8.4/10. Extremely biased opinion as I adore tim roth, and quentin's scene was amazing.

It's brilliant absurd comedy but at the same time metaphor, people really don't want to put 'glasses on'. It's easier to get influenced by commercials, get horny about money and glorify trivial things.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).

Shit's twisted, they did a damned good job. A handful of lame scenes brought on by the reality of the production but incredibly solid.

Van Helsing (2004)

Hugh Jackman, Kate Beckinsale

Seems like it's been airing on Encore almost every day and night lately. One of my favorites though so I don't mind.

The Place Beyond the Pines

Really let down by this one. I can't explain why that is without giving away big plot points but I can say I thought the pacing was far too slow and the story was too damned muddled. The scenery was great and it was shot very well but there wasn't an awful lot beyond that. Well, maybe the acting.

This sounds like the review I had in my head when I saw the preview.
