I've never really been in to romantic comedies but it has an interesting take on the "care-free pretty girl/socially challenged nerd guy love story" concept so I guess I'll give it a 6/10

For the record: every "rating" I ever give on a movie is heavily influenced by my biases.

Warrior (2011) -- 3.5 // 5.0

On the one hand it ends just like you'd think it would and there was, in my opinion, a lot left unresolved as far as the story goes. On the other hand, however, the fight scenes kicked a ton of ass (particularly Hardy beating the shit out of Mad Dog in the beginning) and the acting was great. Recommended.

But the movie forced its pace for the sake of it. It was impossible to understand most characters' motivation. None of the plot points really seemed well constructed or meaningful, it was just one thing after another really.


with multiple movies for 1 (not very long) book, you'd think they could have built some more of the plot =/ whatever, i'll still watch next one, so... mission accomplished for them I guess :)
