Given that thawne remembers everything that just happened, he wouldn't be the same thawne that killed barry's mother the first time, so the timeline would be altered from him having those memories and doing things differently, learning from his past mistakes. Who knows what he did after he killed his mother.

Great episode.

Pretty fucking weak Flashpoint only lasted ONE episode though.

That was my only disappointment that they changed it in one episode, but the lasting repercussions will be interesting.
Given how the execs are with arrow, I bet they're the reason why it only lasted one episode. They were pretty much given a reset switch on all of their bad decisions and they won't take advantage of it.
