Awful movie. A grossly overrated pile of shit pretending to be some artsy fartsy flick. Full of cliches, long winded, totally implausible, entirely predictable, with a completely boring and unlikable lead character. You will actually root for her demise because she is so annoying.

Broderick was in 2 classics, Ferris Beuller's Day Off and Election - thats better than 99% of Actors ever accomplish.

Wtf r u talking bout - that was his best movie - way better than Titantic , you really need to see it imax cause the acting is intense and the action is real - not some cheese special effects or fugly aliens to scare you.

That films is so scary cause its so real.

It was neither implausible nor did it have a boring lead character. Unlikeable is just an opinion.
And it isnt even a film that relys on twists so it wouldnt be a problem if it were predictable ( which it wasnt in my opinion).

Do you honestly think a world class dance troupe would cast a self-defeating introverted bore with no self-confidence as a lead?

The lead was boring as hell. All we saw was 2 hours of close ups of the same one-dimensional emotionally upset face. Self-loathing cutter comes complete with the cliche "I would have been great if I didn't have you" mother.

I could see how some kids might think this movie is interesting, if they haven't seen more than 12 movies in their life.

Dont try to sound elitist if you rate a movie that received serveral prices a 1/10. You are neither willing nor able to rate a movie so stop trying
And all you have to complain about is a "one-dimensional emotionally upset face" and a so-called cliche which wasnt the point of the movie at all.

I rather wanted to say that his rating system is pathetic and retarded. I dont have a problem with differing opinions at all. Its was jsut the fact that he gave it a 1/10.
