By far the worst episode in all 3 seasons.

I really liked this episode / Tyrion scenes. I hope people pay close attention to every episode and try to understand each character and why they do what they do. If they pay attention and keep to this show they're in for some huge surprises that really display some brilliant writing. It's just so twisted, devious, good hearted.. pretty much everything good and bad about characters that you can think of all wrapped up into an epic medieval fantasy.

Sam's scene was much better this episode too. It's difficult building up to all these individual story lines but I think they're doing a great job with 10 episodes. I think the last 2 will have some good action in them too.

I wish they did more than 10 damn episodes a season. They could fit so much more of the books in there.

I really liked all the Tyrion scenes. I also found Stannis to be great this episode. I felt that things with Daario were kinda rushed and didn't come off very believable, but I accept it as good enough considering how much they had to get through.

I was really disappointed with The Slaying. I'm fine that they shifted the plot around so it was witnessed by Gilly, but the scene itself did not accomplish what it was supposed to. Sam did not come off as very "heroic" in the scene at all. Basically he was a complete weakling and the knife did all the work. It totally doesn't do the job for me at all.

Episode 9 tends to end on a high note. Both season 1 and 2 had very influential or action packed scenes with Ned's death and Battle of Blackwater.

The white walkers have been walkin for 3 seasons now. Getting old...
