lol, would never have thought someone who wasn't spanish would watch this

it's actually the most expensive movie in spanish movie history; the first two movies were so succesful that it's now become a money making franchise

One of the festival directors is a fan iirc, it was part of this festivals program http://www.nightvisions.info/cms/?page_id=7 I doubt the previous parts have been shown here though.
Was the kind of film you can tolerate a bit more if you are not from the country it's made in. :p

also "Torrente 4 went on to become the most popular domestic film ever in its opening weekend in Spain."

Well I didn't watch that one. The first two are pretty funny, the third one was really bad... the problem with these movies is that they have tons of references, cameos and jokes that are almost impossible to get if you aren't spanish.

Most of this one seemed pretty universal retardcomedy.
Got any spanish westerns to recommend? Cut-Throats Nine was first one for me and pretty good too.

Last night:

Thale
Nightbreed - Cabal Cut (45min more material but 70% different than the available cut)
The Seasoning House
Asylum Blackout
Game of Werewolves
Cut-Throats Nine
Werewolf Shadow (aka The Werewolf versus the Vampire Woman)
Wither
Seeding of a Ghost

Once upon a time in America

9.8/10

so many outstanding performance by tbh everyone! Absolutely loved Burt Young and Joe Pesci for their short but awesome appearance but it seems unfair to just mention those two since everyone did such a great job.

When I first saw James (Jimmy) Conway I was like, wtf this guy looks like Robert Sean Leonard.
