It is vastly different than anything we have seen so far, that's the point. Barry completely changed history with his actions. If the tv universe follows the comics at all then everything we have seen in arrow/flash no longer matter. I also assume this will be how they are going to move Supergirl into the proper universe.

Changed? Sure, but I think it'll be small things here and there that change not like entire huge world ending things.

Well for example when barry saved his mom, superman's spaceship landed a little farther away than smallville and destroyed a town. It was then recuperated by the army and superman grew up in a prison cell constantly under red sun effects (or was it kryptonite? I can't remember), so he was all frail and unaware of his powers.


Those are pretty dramatic changes. Bruce dies instead of his parents so thomas becomes batman, etc.

In the comics Barry saving his mom basically ended the world, and he had to stop himself to make things go back to normal. And then the "normal" we got back to was the new 52 which essentially restarted the entire dc universe and changed everything.

two words: Flashpoint paradox

K maybe one of those wasn't a word.

I'm just guessing here, obviously I'd read the comics if I knew where to start.

In Flashpoint Paradox, didn't the flash have his uniform in his ring, and when he went to use it, it was yellow [Zooms] colour? So, does Barry have a ring in the TV series for his uniform? I think if they do introduce next season as the Flashpoint Paradox, it would be written with a few changes compared to the comics or cartoons.

Would like to see what they do for next season, and the Paradox version would be good to see if they introduce other superheroes as more spinoff TV series... they already showed Aquaman and two others [forgot who they were].

They showed aquaman?

Damn, got my movie mixed up with TV series... still would be good if they had Jason Mamoa as Aquaman in a TV series instead of just a movie.

if they wanted superman and batman to be a part of it they probably should have mentioned them upto this point, all the talk about being a hero etc
