As per the books, everyone is infected. You die with brain intact --> you become a zombie.

Also, as per the books, one gun shot can result in a herd of zombies coming to your location. They explain it as basically a chain effect...zombies start walking towards the sound, some may go the wrong way, but then they bump into more zombies and follow them, and then a group of zombies bumps into another group of zombies and then they all move together as one.

Great Episode sucks that Shane died kind of made the show interesting with his recklessness though.

It had been a long time coming though you know they couldn't have coexisted together much longer.

Surprised they were able to for that long in fact.

Predictions for next episode Walkers come to the farm they get overrun and jet.

Herschel dies I think because as you could see in the previews he states I'm not leaving this farm no matter what.

If the Farm goes down Herschel goes down I believe.

Shane's death will develop a lot of characters, including Rick, Carl, Andrea & Lori (oh god I hate that woman). I hope Darryl will take a more prominent role now, and we might even see some more lines for T-Dog now that Dale & Shane are both gone.

The ending promises a lot for next week.

But Shanes teetering back and forth between so many social roles and sanity was an epic piece of acting.

Rick, Carl, and Lori have paper thin personalities in comparison so they need to step it up.

Everyone wants more Darryl. He made me want to buy a crossbow next hunting season lol.

Just watched the second half of the second season. Great show, but god is it predictable sometimes... Was obvious they weren't going to just kill the prisoner like they should have for example... Rick had to bitch out. Little sad they killed off the best acting in the show lol. Hopefully someone steps up to the plate though. Darryl is my bet.
