So I am going to be a really weird one here.. Please note its been almost 3 months since I finished it so some things may be hazy
Walter - The character who thinks 5 steps ahead. I enjoyed his character immensely. The development, the manipulation, superb.. Its been a while since I've seen such wonderful character development, from a nerdy silly highschool teacher afraid to kill someone until he realizes they are trying to kill him, to a cold blooded boarderline psychopath. I hated how everything became a fucking Jimmy Neutron wanna be moment "Oh if I mix said chemical together with this I'll blow your house up!" I lost a lot of respect for the show once they started using the fumigation houses for making meth... its about the point I really lost interest and just finished it up (incredible ending) because I already had so much time vested into it.
Jesse - The character who acts on raw emotion. Great character development.. I am sad it had to end the way it did.. Jesse always wanting to see Walt as a father figure and Walt was so fucking proud of Jesse... I just severely disliked how bitter and angry he randomly was all the time. Jesse served as a rock for two of my favorite parts of the entire series (one being when Walt finally told him about Jane dying and how he could have saved her, and my absolute favorite part of the entire series, when Walt calls out "the hit" on Gale and Jesse has to kill him when Mike captures him at the cleaners.. There were numerous times where I was screaming at netflix practically because of how stupid he was in certain situations. The thing that kills me about Jesse is how he turns into a sniveling bitch that never recovers after Jane dies
Skyler - Something about sky always rubbed me wrong. There was so many emotional things to deal with... but she tried to keep Walt on a leash and that inevitably made him lie / work way too hard to keep his meth operation a secret. You are in a marriage hes not your puppy, let him do shit. I guess they had a family, but things weren't going right for a while anyways. After she cheated on Walt I gained a similar hate for her that I did for Marie because she cheated on him then played the victim and that REALLY pissed me off.
Marie - Fucking hate this fucking whore bag of bitch. Literally every time she was in a scene I wanted to punch her face in. Never have I hated a fake character so much in my life. Nicest thing I will say about her.
Hank What a fucking character. Up to the point where he had a hit put out on him, I thought he was great. After the hit he became a little irritating (Its a fucking mineral Marie) but the end is such a bittersweet moment. I remember vividly how pisses I was that they were outsmarting Walt to go to his cash burial site... and I was almost physically mad because this idiot had outsmarted Walt, someone who has been 5 steps ahead of most the entire time. Overall I enjoyed his character immensely.. and was happy to see him turn into the dark knight. Was extremely sad to see how easily he broke the law via his own aggression (Walt and Jesse) but wouldn't even consider breaking the law to help his family (aka drug-dealing Walt). I enjoyed the fact that they didn't let Hank finish his last words, and when Walt went to massacre them he didn't let them finish their final words.
Saul Voted Saul to be my favorite guy. The guy with all the connections, the crooked lawyer who kept this series afloat for me.. Him and his crackshoot goons (who initially to the viewer included the incredible Mike) were always there for a laugh. He was a typical weasel doing whatever he could for the cash.. He is the one who gave Walt the opportunity to work with Gus, who kept on EVERYBODY'S goodside so everyone wouldn't murder eachother, but was also the one who pushed jesse into the angerzone hard enough to work with Hank. I feel like without Saul, realistically, Jesse and Walt would of killed eachother at some point while still working small scale, if they didn't go through Gus, assuming they still used Jesse's friends to sling the meth and one of them was killed, Jesse would of exploded in anger and quit or killed Walt. a+ to Saul!
Gus The only guy to give Walt a run for his money. Guy was a genius, had a complete empire running effortlessly.. He played a very withheld man but knew how to show the emotion when needed (viciously killing the guy who was seen after Jesse killed Gale) He knew how to make you love him like no other and he knew how to make you wish he was dead. A+ in my book
Mike This guy made the show interesting. Always knew what to do, how to do it, and was a viciously cold hearted killer but did what he had to no matter what for his granddaughter. I loved watching him brutally and methodically take out entire organizations effortlessly and then watching him play with his granddaughter in the park and enjoy life. Easily my 2nd favorite character, was kind of crushed when Walt killed him.. and how he died... just didn't feel right..
Walter Jr. (Flynn) Personally underwhelming, I could of thought up a few different names to put here instead of WaltJr. Never really wow'd me and just did w/e. Thought it was interesting how much hate he gained instantaneously at the end for Walt.. the second he found out he went from "I love you dad" to "you are fucking dead to me".. a unrealistic emotional change that would have taken more than 3 seconds flat.
Other - Jane.. I was legitimately happy to see Jesse turn his life around with this woman.. everything was working so well and I really enjoyed how she developed Jesse, albeit after she died Jesse just cried about everything for the next full season. Easily my 3rd favorite character, would of been 1st fav if she didn't turn out to be such a C u next tuesday
