but ur right this movie was way better than Million Dollar Baby, The Fighter ( that came out around the same time your precious Warrior did & filled more seats & got better reviews.), Rage Bull, Reel Steel,

If you're talking about Joel Edgerton, he's been in a couple of the starwars movies... I don't really know what makes a movie "significant" from your point of view but it's hardly relevant to his performance in this movie anyways...
The ending of Warrior was corny and predictable but I've enjoyed plenty of movies that had sub-par endings.
I wouldn't call Warrior "precious" but it wasn't a "shitty" movie as you put it. To be honest, I liked The Fighter better than Warrior and I've never seen the other ones you listed.
