This... What's wrong with it? It's after a bunch of epic shit in a row happens, he swears his allegiance to her, she's become aware of his longing for her via Tyrion, it's an alliance that makes sense and they're both attractive and young people.
I personally didn't think this would happen because I thought they'd go away from the incest bullshit, but it makes sense that it did. They had how many generations of unions of incest without a real problem? Shouldn't really be a problem for two super good people to hook up and have a kid, even if they're related. That's my feelings on this world, because obviously it's just sort of normal here, while if this was based in our world, incest isn't fucking cool no matter what lol.
Honestly I don't have any problems with incest. I mean obviously there is the potential for genetic fuck ups. But the social faux pas of it seems to go a lot deeper than that. When I think about my siblings I don't have any feelings towards them in that way but for those who do I don't feel the need to judge them.
There are two arguments, the social side and the genetic side. For the social side it is strange to me that if you are related it is bad, bit if you aren't related but bright up as siblings it is fine? It's like.. It seems a bit hypocritical to me.
Barry Allen and Iris West raised together as brother a sister for basically their entire lives, they get together and it is cheered. Danny and Jon, never seen eachother before, never shared any of the family bonding moments, never did anything have never done anything that actually makes a family, family and yet it is gross? I don't understand.
