missed 2 eps due to being on holidays so i binge watched 3eps in a row, was not in my best mood when i was watching it...should have waited but i ill be re-watching whole season soon anyway

cant remember much but it felt like there was a lot of predictable moments (not usual WTF unpredictable GOT style) and fair few cringe scenes in last 3 eps, didnt feel like it was epic compare to previous eps but i think it was just me and i need to rewatch it in a good mood !

Possibly, but in the books its existence isn't confirmed, and if it has been found Sam is likely the one with it. And if it does exist whether it can bring down the wall isn't confirmed either, that's just what the wildings believe/hope. A dragon for the nightking seems very likely to me to be a grrm approved aspect that he will incorporate in the books.

brah have u even look at the cover of winds of winter lol, and martin already said the tv took a different path then the books.

Agree 100% , I liked the finish of wot. It was obvious Jordans spiderwebs of story was spiralling out of control and the finish was complete and in character just without 12 new characters introduced per book.
got script is written by TV producers with no where near the imagination or ability of a writer like Sanderson. And I believe they wrote themselves into some corners earlier like merging Sansa with jeyne Poole/ over playing Ramsays character , and leaving Jamie in kings landing far too long. These things added to the story in previous seasons but now there's really only 3 locations to focus on so they can't just cut to what's happening somewhere else till next episode.
They had to invent a new reason for Jamie to abandon cersei since they choose not to do it over her trial. I agree a plot to capture a walker and then walk into kings landing without cersei killing them is ridiculous and completely out of character for her. I hope the book has a more realistic way of giving nk a dragon.

You probably know, but Robert Jordan is all over the GRRM books. Lord Trebor (Robert..) Jordayne of the Tor of the great lords of Dorne. Archmaester Rigney (Jordan's real name) theorising that time is a wheel. etc etc.

They could by NOT doing that. lol

Honestly I don't know why you dislike it so much. Yes we all knew Danny would come and save them that episode, but that doesn't mean there was no tension. Obviously Jon was going to live but basically everyone else was fair game. It isn't "they(entire group) obviously won't die" it is more like "who in the group won't make it". I don't think you can honestly say you didn't have some sort of "oh shit" or "what the fuck" moment when it looked like tormund was gone.

And I mean you say these "dues ex machina" scenes are bad, but like why are you ignoring the literal seasons of build up that they had? It isn't like they come out of no where, they had years of development and foreshadowing.

You complain that their entire plan was stupid because Cersei is fucking crazy, yet you ignore that literally no one except the audience realizes how fucking crazy she actually is. No one who made the plan knows of her as some crazy irrational mad Queen, only the audience does. The plan actually makes a lot of sense from the perspective of the characters. The living need to stop fighting eachother, do that by showing the real enemy. No one is crazy enough to not see a wight and not want to deal with that threat.

Season 7 finale was probably one of the most tense episodes of the entire series. I was never so stressed out watching a show before. How can you say that the show has lost that element? That episode was amazing.

ehh, except Tyrion knows. And it was Tyrion's plan. If he wasn't involved that rationale might have worked to explain the plan.

Tbh after this season, the world would be in such a better place if Tyrion died in that cell. He botched Dani's plan, and keeps her from just getting her throne on easy mode in a siege, because he wants a 'humane war.' Then he gave the NK a dragon with his shitty plan, and then he got played by Cersei in the finale. If he died in season 4, the walkers would still be beyond the wall, and Dani would have trashed KL by now and be sitting on the throne.

U dont understand anything... if dany would have crushed kl by fire no one would have wanted her as a queen except by fear, danys wants to break the wheel so tyrion plan is in that direction... and this is war u can't predict everything your enemies will do

No he doesn't, he has no idea what his sister has become. He knows she isn't nice, he also knows she is cold and calculating. Not one except the audience sees her as a mad queen, and tbh I think a lot of people are wrong to see her that way. I mean she if definitely headed there but I don't think it has quite happened yet.

Also Tyrion hasn't botched anything. He was outplayed. Telling Danny to not just go burn everything is definitely the correct play.

It's funny, people bitch the writing has gone down hill and shit like that(blame grrm not the showrunners, he has had 7 fucking years to write the current book), people bitch about the action scenes. Then people bitch that Danny hasn't just killed everyone with her dragons.
