The Royal Tenenbaums

Gene Hackman was awesome in this one. The plot was bizarre, as were the characters, but overall I found it to be a charming comedy with a ton of heart. It was also very clean looking and well done overall, 4.0 // 5.0.

EDIT -- This movie also gets kudos for the phenomenal choice of music, from Van Morrison to Nick Drake to a Beatles cover. According to IMDB's trivia there is a Jeff Buckley reference, so my hat is off.

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, was expecting to be bad, wasn't awful though. Had ups and downs..overall not a bad watch to me.
