Yeah however it's still quite an enjoyable series. I'm liking season 8 as it continues.

I think it was implied he was just going to get rid of it again later or replace it...

Yea thats what i figured. I hoped it was just the normal parent move of "yea sure you can keep it". Then they just throw it away again. Will be dumb as hell if it helps bring him down.
