The only way that ending would be possible is if the show decides to absolutely ignore the books and make up their own shit. GRRM has already said the ending is going to be "bittersweet".

It will end up with humans coming to some sort of "understanding" with the White Walkers. Most likely story based on the background: Either Jon or Dany willingly "dies" to become the new Night's king (or Queen) then they marry each other to seal the peace between factions.

Danny takes the iron throne then heads north to meet the night king and try to arrange some sort of peace.

The night king says only marriage will bring peace, danny reluctantly agrees and steps closer to the night king.

The night king has other ideas though and says no, then points beyond Danny to Jon snow, and says him. (Flash back to previous season where their eyes meet at the battle with the wildlings, death stare or something more?)

The night king then takes Jon snow into his tent and rends his armor off with his ice blade, violently taking him as everyone waits outside the tent.

The night king emerges wearing only a loincloth and says they will rule the north and danny can have the rest.
