Based on martins other work i would give this a 0% chance. In fact, based on his other work i would be surprised if this ended in a big battle at all.

Yea, we have gotten plenty of action already. I also expect we will still another battle or 2 before the end. I just done expect the actual "end game" to be resolved by a massive battle. The battle may start or something but it wont be what sets things "right". At least i wouldnt expect it based on how he tends to write all of stories with anti-war themes.

The only way that ending would be possible is if the show decides to absolutely ignore the books and make up their own shit. GRRM has already said the ending is going to be "bittersweet".

It will end up with humans coming to some sort of "understanding" with the White Walkers. Most likely story based on the background: Either Jon or Dany willingly "dies" to become the new Night's king (or Queen) then they marry each other to seal the peace between factions.
