qyburn created some crazy undead baby i'd bet my life on it

The way he was examining the walker... probably gonna raise his own undead army or something. All hail King Qyburn.

The Metacritic ratings for this season aren't even that much lower than the first season....a season with GRRM writing...

The S7 dialogue is objectively worse than it was in S1, but there are other redeeming qualities about S7 that make it amazing in its own right.

This was my thought as well. Jaime finding out the truth about that will be the final step that pushes him to what we all know is coming.

I seriously would have enjoyed watching the NK try breach the wall without the aid of a dragon. I'm sure it would have been sick. Dragon made it too easy lol.

God damn Cersei. She is going to fuck everything up, and honestly, I expected no less from her.

I don't really know all the lore about the prince, the prophecy of the targaryaen back story but the Final season is going to be amazing.

I don't see your point. This writing is more mainstream, and this is one of the best shows on television. Doesn't mean it can't be critiqued. Anyone with a brain would know the writing has taken a big hit this season.

I don't see how Bran isn't the Night King at this point. And if he isn't, the Night King has the same powers as him and how he got it must have something to do with his dream previously where NK touched him.

Unless of course, they make up a complete different mysterious reason or never make the origin of the Night King known. But for a good twist it has to have something to do with the previous Three Eyed Raven, NK, and why they wanted Bran be the new Raven. It's still completely odd...

Yea it certainly has, but i don't think it's stupidly bad all of a sudden.
Just time constraints.

The important dialogues in that finale were 10/10

The acting is bloody brilliant too, shout out to Lena Headey who is head and shoulders above the rest!

Interesting theory. If things start going really well for Dany's side maybe they do throw in this twist to even it up again. However it would be kind of weird after all these years of developing Tyrion's character, we know that he's a "good" guy.

Although I don't really understand why Tyrion is upset with Jon and Dany being together?

And what was the Hound talking about when he was telling the Mountain that something/someone is coming for him?

I forgot which episode this was, but Dany is supposed to be betrayed by love one more time. Jon is a man of honor and has said so 1,000 times so for him to do it is out of character. Or maybe Tyrion's words of you have to lie sometimes will stick? He listened to Tormund when he said to bend the knee. But I think it's either going to be a non-twist and Jon, or Tyrion. I'm sure this will lead to her death if it's Tyrion, and if not Tyrion's death. There's so many ways they can take it that it's hard to theorize but one thing is for certain: Jon or Dany dies. The Lord of Light still hasn't made any sense, but light does melt snow and creates fire? Could this be wordplay, or does it tie together with the theme of next season? This just further makes me think Dany dies.

Meh, time to wait like.... 2 years.

The acting of this show is a masterpiece and each scene is fucking DELIVERED. Cersei just killed it last episode, and Jaime has one of the most interesting characters of any show to me.

Agree about Jaime - He seems to always be thinking a lot more than he ever says, his character is quite unique and i've no idea what his fate will be.

Also, him leaving after his spat with Cersei was my favourite scene in that episode.. with the first signs of snow finally falling in king's landing.

RIP Littlefinger :(

I guess his end was inevitable, but I was hoping it would happen a bit later on.

Theon's scene was really stupid imo, but it doesn't ruin what was otherwise a good episode. I'm glad Cersei is backstabbing her opponents; that will surely bring chaos in the next season.

imo House Lannister provides the best characters by a landslide. Tyrion is amazing in so many ways, Cersei is a great villain, Jaime is really interesting with his inner struggles, Tywin was a top tier badass, Joffrey was an excellently well constructed piece of shit... and I have nothing to complain about minor characters like Tommen, Myrcella, Lancel and Kevan; they all did their job well.

They also provided some of the worst story arcs of the show, but this episode has me a lot more interested with their story and how it wraps up for them. Jaime leaving to me was the fall of House Lannister, and signifies that Tyrion is playing 2 sides now.
