Eh, I agree with Arsenic, there was enough story in the episode and so much still wrapping up in the episode a 5 min fight scene might have been a bit much. Would I have enjoyed a 5 min fight scene between the two? Hell yeah. Just doesn't seem like all that big of a deal to me though.

edit: definitely not saying it wasn't poorly written, but to be blunt the show as a whole has had major writing issues since the get go haha. (obviously I still watch and enjoy it though lol)

The fight scene length is not the issue for me, the scene itself was bogus, the writing issues wasn't a problem either.
Basically 3 punches and Malcolm basically gives up, kneels down with arms outward and boom... he lost a hand.

Damn... Sarahs fight scenes in Legends of Tomorrow are way better...
