well the prophecy definitely leaves Jaime as one of the prime suspects, if not the biggest one.

But right now, I don't think that Jaime has enough reason to kill her. Tommen is the only death of the kids that she is responsible for. And, in her defense, she needed to get rid of the Sparrows in order for her and Jamie to have a chance to be together. She was, in part, protecting Jaime's secret as well. He can't be mad about what she was trying to do there. Tommen's death was an unintended consequence that she couldn't have foreseen.

So if he is going to kill her, something else is going to have to push him that way. Probably it will be that her "Mad Queen" persona starts causing problems and Jaime will be put into a position of having to kill her the same way he did the Mad King, so he wil be kingslayer and queenslayer at the same time

It hasn't been confirmed but it's what the writers/directors etc.. said in previous interviews with Vanity Fair, Forbes etc... 13 episodes for the final 2 seasons. They said they can't keep up the quality if they try and force 10 episodes for each of the last two seasons. I hope each episode is 70 minutes long or like you said, that we get a shorter break between the seasons. Most likely, we'll get none of that, 7x 50 minute episodes and then 9 months of waiting for the conclusion. It's going to be epic though.



He killed the last king he served for threatening to use wildfire on the civilians... then she turns around and kills thousands to save herself, including being the direct cause of her last remaining child's death. I think he's pretty terrified about her sitting on that throne and he'll end the nightmare once and for all when he gets a chance. Just makes sense for all the adult Lannisters (except tyrion ofc) to die from internal conflict.

And they are definitely hinting at it. The look Jaime had when he saw he on the Throne looked like he was worried. He knows how unstable she is. Jaime is a sane man who would do anything for the greater good. He would also do anything for his sister. It would be a great twist to make him choose between saving a bunch of innocent people or killing his sister, the love of his life. It also parallels the prequel of him killing the mad king, with the added twist of him loving the one he is killing this time.

and even though it isn't a secret in the truest sense, i think you know what i mean. Cersei is protecting them both by avoiding the need to confess that openly.

If tommen isn't cremated right away(or at all) arya could use his face to kill cersei. Episode 1 next season would be a pretty big shock.

Her actress already said she is part of a huge battle.

Pretty much guaranteed she will face Dany/Jon.

Jaime kills her and marries Brienne.
