its about a fucking bitch that wants attention and cant say no to unwanted sex, calls it rape later and say there was nothing she can do, that black teacher was more than fucking decent to help her as far as he did, she decided to be a stupid cunt and say there's nothing she can do when she could have reported Bryce to the police? did she fight back during the "rape"? cuz i don't see any wounds on her or Bryce when she was being "raped?" they were both sober? why didn't she fight back? maybe cuz she's a fucking bitch? she didn't even say no for fuck sake.
Blame others for not being a kiss ass to her so she decided to end her pitiful life, then make 13 tapes so she can continue on being a drama queen bitch after she decided to kill herself.
this is a good show for who? people who were idiots in highschool? the nostalgia?
Her name is Hannah, not fucking bitch. There's no reason to be so disrespectful to a fictional character, it's making you look like an uneducated street rat with no manners or human empathy.
Bryce grabbed her, she was scared, she didn't know what to do or how to react. She had witnessed him rape before, and since he grabbed her, she most likely already felt powerless and that he would force her to stay in the tub as he did. There's not much a 130 lb girl would be able to do to fight back against a male much larger. Maybe if you were a young female, you would have a different opinion on sexual harrassment and rape, especially if it had happened to you.
The guidance consoler pretty much told her that the student would be graduating soon and that he would be leaving the school so she could get over it. She lost all hope for help when he said that. Yes, it is still her fault for not saying more, but she is far from perfect and the scene is showing the disconnect between a victim and the help.
Consider the tapes a fictional draw to interest readers into the original book. Afterall, it is a fiction novel, and authors have every right to create interesting lures to make their story more unique. In relation, the tapes are simply an extended suicide note, which has always been common.
This show is important, not as much for suicide, but showing how different types of bullying can damage someone as shown with Hannah and about a dozen other characters in the show.
Hannah isn't a flawless character, and the show clearly points out some of those flaws. It's realistic as we are all flawed. As a viewer, it's easy to point out how she could have done something differently.
The target audience is you. You're someone who, again, has no human empathy and probably doesn't understand social manners.
Bullying is increasingly getting worse and more severe, and this show has successfully opened an avenue of conversation between parents and their kids as stated on many social media outlets.
I sincerely hope that you change your thought process, and understand that you are completely wrong on every single aspect, and you evaluate how you treat people.
