The original actor for maul literally nope'd out because lucas changed maul from an actual character with lines to a mindless 'look cool' drone.

As far as 'pure star wars perspective' maul was taken and tortured from a young age, then trained to be an assassin. Then he was cut in half and exiled to a trash planet where he went completely mad, for 10 years. Afterwards he had an extremely unhealthy obsession with getting revenge against obi for beating him.

What an extremely fucking relatable chafacter....

Game went to shit when it went "free to play"

I really enjoyed it while it lasted, but it played much like a single player game....which isn't a huge bad thing but it was supposed to play more like an mmo as marketed. I would love a remake with better graphics.

Ok I finally got to see the movie. So I just want to comment on some of these points here.

Yes the movie basically 'A New Hope' I could tell immediately, but to be honest I am ok with that. I think JJ played it safe in a way, to make it a lot like the originals. And he did succeed in that. I think he played it smart, because how can you criticize that movie 'hurting' the Star Wars franchise. I think he has helped bring it back to its glory.

And going back to Kylo Ren, and him being a 'bitch' and how Rey and Finn were able to fight with him. To me it seemed like he wasnt fully trained. I mean at the end its even said 'bring Kylo Ren to me so he can finish his training' I got from that that he was only partially trained. Probably considering there is not much of a threat to him. He also seems really torn between being evil and being 'good', referring to him not killing his father right away. And even when he is talking to Vaders mask he is asking for help/help seeing the strength of the dark side again. So with that I can see why he would have some trouble going 'all out' in a fight. And to be fair, Finn did not fight him well. Rey did better, but it was basically her playing defense the whole fight. Until she was able to feel the power of the force. I am also assuming she is Lukes Daughter, or a relative of Obi Won, maybe a grand daughter or something. I have not been reading on the theories of her or anything yet because I just got home from the movie. Also it seem like she 'saw into the future' when she first touched the lightsaber. Didnt it flash to that woods 'scene' maybe she saw what to do.

All in all I really did enjoy the movie. Definitely felt like Star Wars, which Episode 1-3 did not.

Yeah I'm purely playing it for the story.

My sister claimed that she heard Rey introduce herself with a full name at one point, but I didn't catch this. Anyone else remember this?

To everyone saying kylo ren was a bitch, he got fucking shot in the side by a wookie crosslaserbow.

Throughout the entire movie previously we saw han using the weapon and talking about how powerful it is etc. That wasn't just random 'oh haha isn't han funny' moments, it was actually setting up the ending fight with Rey.

Kylo takes more punishment than anyone else in the entire canon and keeps fighting, he is by far not a bitch.
