that's like 2 episodes ago lol, you can't expect every single episode to be as exciting as that two part one. and if they attempted to cram that much excitement into the show all the time it would just end up being repetitive and would get boring. they had to kind of mellow it out

imo they're doing a great job keeping it interesting and bringing new things into it. it's sooo much better than any other "crime" shows (CSI, NCIS, etc..)

I guess. Last episode brought like 1 interesting thing into it. The story in prison, was the show.
Dont diss NCIS! I love that show, with Mark Harmon! NCIS: Los Angeles, is sooo tacky though Imo.

I have to admit I have begun to like it more since they brought in Bishop to the show, but it's still soo repetitive, every episode is, for the most part, the same exact story line

NCIS is the better of the two, and the Boss makes the show.
NCIS LA... well just an action hack really... but you have to love the little ol lady running them... :)

And blacklist isn't?
Get name
Hunt person
Find person after hints from Red
Somehow end up helping Red do his own thing
Red saves lady agent at some point.
Agent ladys husband ignores her because she does her job

That is literally every single episode, which I wouldn't mind too much if the overarcing story was enticing enough to keep you interested to see what will happen, or just wasn't there.

For me it has hit that sweet spot where the overall plot is interesting enough that I want to watch it but not interesting enough to sit through multiple filler episodes in a row tbat literally reveal nothing. I dont see why they can't have a portion of the episodes talking about what we actually care about.

Not to mention the main character is so fucking flat and bland that I honestly couldn't care less about her.

Indeed, it is.

Ya... it's quite absurd for anyone to think, that kindergarden cop's principal, with her size and all, could be any kind of heroic badass unstoppable co-vert op agent, and a tea connaisseur to boot

Well if you think of it, ALOT of shows are quite repetitive. Other than shows that came from books, and ofc mini shows that are like 13 episodes, etc.
Some shows though have "hidden" core subjects, wich attracts us and makes us keep watching to find out what it is.
Unlike those cop shows though, they have 0 subjects other than 1 for each episode.

And the truth about the husband finally comes out. Damn she owes Red one hell of an apology.

If they find out ofc.
I still don't think Red knows her true meaning in it all.

It's funny though, he said he knows her. So it means they've had dealing before, maybe could also mean he knows who she's working for.

Also, not sure if this will play out. But that laywer wanted to know who the secret weapon was, I find it funny that he didn't see Red walk in and talk to the Judge, while he was in his cell.

Another 2 week pause :bonk:

they did an amazing job of keeping it a mystery until now, I had no idea which it would be until this episode

but when he said he couldn't cheat on his wife because he loves her, do you guys think he was just keeping up with his act or did he actually mean that?

Ummm, I think he's truely falln in love with her.
Unless he's sadistic enough to want a baby, to somehow use the baby as a bargaining chip against her down the road for his plot.
I give him props though for his way of "keeping it soooo cool", he's better than Red Imo.
