I have to admit I have begun to like it more since they brought in Bishop to the show, but it's still soo repetitive, every episode is, for the most part, the same exact story line
Indeed, it is.

NCIS is the better of the two, and the Boss makes the show.
NCIS LA... well just an action hack really... but you have to love the little ol lady running them...

Ya... it's quite absurd for anyone to think, that kindergarden cop's principal, with her size and all, could be any kind of heroic badass unstoppable co-vert op agent, and a tea connaisseur to boot

And blacklist isn't?
Get name
Hunt person
Find person after hints from Red
Somehow end up helping Red do his own thing
Red saves lady agent at some point.
Agent ladys husband ignores her because she does her job
That is literally every single episode, which I wouldn't mind too much if the overarcing story was enticing enough to keep you interested to see what will happen, or just wasn't there.
For me it has hit that sweet spot where the overall plot is interesting enough that I want to watch it but not interesting enough to sit through multiple filler episodes in a row tbat literally reveal nothing. I dont see why they can't have a portion of the episodes talking about what we actually care about.
Not to mention the main character is so fucking flat and bland that I honestly couldn't care less about her.
Well if you think of it, ALOT of shows are quite repetitive. Other than shows that came from books, and ofc mini shows that are like 13 episodes, etc.
Some shows though have "hidden" core subjects, wich attracts us and makes us keep watching to find out what it is.
Unlike those cop shows though, they have 0 subjects other than 1 for each episode.
