Decent episode tonight.
The most obvious thing to comment on is Melisandre going after Gendry's blood. It looks like he will just be taking over the role of Eadric Storm. I guess it makes sense to reuse an existing character for that role instead of having to introduce a new one, but they might be backing themselves into a corner if GRRM had an essential role for Gendry to play later on (which most readers think was the case).
Was really disappointed it cut away from Tyrion delivering the news to Sansa. Was that ship she was watching sail away supposed to be something in particular? I doubt it could be Loras going back to Highgarden.
Things between Varys and Baelish are heating up nicely. This is the second time they met in the throne room to do their verbal sparring. Both occasions really highlighted Baelish's fixation on the throne. Maybe we are seeing more of Baelish's true intentions in the show than we saw in the book. Although those two conversation could have happened in the book world, we just didn't see them because neither of them are POVs.
Melisandre going after Gendry really threw me off. I liked how she kind of prophesied Arya's future though.
I think the ship was Sansa's fate. I didn't catch the sigil part but I figured it was Sansa looking out toward Peter's ship knowing her hopes and dreams of marrying Loras are dashed and she'll have to escape. Sansa always annoyed me though. She's too optimistic and dumb (possibly because she's too young) to understand wtf is going on and play the GOT properly.

ugh, getting so disappointed in this show, they are dragging everything out way too long... going to have to start reading the books to find out how badly they butchered this show... friend tells me every week how bad the show is compared to the books. first season was very action packed, second season really slowed down with the action, and now this season.... my god its becoming a soap opera
I'm really impressed with their adaptation from books to screen tbh. I mean it could always be better if they had enough money for 20 episodes a season but that's not reality. Don't think that if you read the books you'll see tons of action. There are a lot of pages describing food, clothing, and other bs and at times I got bored or fed up with certain POV chapters.
Besides, it looks like they're working towards one maybe even two major plot changes that'll make everyone shit their pants this season.
