It was way better than I anticipated.
The amount of game lore, while having a couple interesting twists was pretty entertaining.
It has problems and Jade is annoying as hell, but I can’t understand why people are trashing on this so fucking hard.
Seems like most the negative reviews I’ve read and shit I’ve seen online, has been people losing their minds because it’s pushing “woke” agenda. For the life of me, I can’t figure out what they’re talking about… these are like the only things I could think of
SPOILERS
A girl mentions she’s vegan and gets a burrito shoved in her face
There’s a gay couple - who have a horribly dysfunctional and fucked up relationship where one is drugging the other.
They made Wesker black and he’s not like the Wesker from the games - you clearly didn’t watch the show then and I figured out he wasn’t the real Wesker pretty early on, maybe you’re just dumb?
There’s minorities in major roles….
And that’s about fucking it, did I miss anything or have people just lost their damn minds? I had super low expectations (since it’s RE and they’re all pretty bad), but it easily surpassed them. I’d say 6.5-7/10 pretty easily and it has a lot of promise for a second season, although I doubt we’ll get them with all the hater reviews from people who are as delusional as lefties who want to identify as eggplants.

damn u know its BAD for a local low iq garbage worshipper when he have to intentionally delete non-white characters from previous films to try form a comeback
So you know nothing about it, but you saw a bunch of reviews online about it being super woke, so you automatically believe them and flame the shit out of the series.
You do realize that this type of behavior makes you as batshit crazy as the lefties who actually do push a leftist agenda, right? You’re blindly doing the exact same thing, which makes you guys two sides of the same coin that’s fucking up everything
E: Oh wait, they casted a black actor (who’s terrific and probably the best thing about the series), into a role that was originally a white guy. Is that why the entire show is bad?
What I have a problem with, is throwing in diverse actors who can’t do the part correctly, for the sake of being more diverse. Or force pushing some LGBT shit into the story that doesn’t make any sense. That being said, there’s absolutely zero reason anyone should give one single shit if someone absolutely nails a role while being the wrong color…. you know, now that I think about it, there’s a specific term for people who blindly hate on anyone with a different skin color, regardless of how awesome they may be. I’m just having a hard time placing that term is. Seeing as you seen somewhat well versed in this field, maybe you could help me understand what the term I’m looking for is? You know, the one that fits you perfectly.
