Pretty funny at times. The first/every time a character was telling their backstory I was thinking "omg hurry up this is boring" then like 10 seconds later Saitama said what I was thinking which caught me by surprise the first time, and was funny every other time. Like my level of giving a fuck was pretty similar to his. Also pretty funny how they mimic Goku basically every fight scene.

I think I like s1 more than s2. Both were solid though.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. The fact that it caught me by surprise is what made me fall in love with it right away. It's so rare for shows to do that and when they manage to keep the humor light and funny throughout, while also having this ridiculous serious atmosphere, it just works for me.

S2 was just buildup, but I agree, the first season was overall the better of the two.

I think s2 focused too much on fighting. And they had to use other characters for it because obviously. So it was more similar to actual fighting/action anime and lost a bit of the parody aspect, which made it not as good.

The fucking bicycle hero is the best in s1, riding his little heart out to try and get there and never making it. Then s2 has the entire message of like everyone is a hero and every hero has their place and it was less fun.

Mumen Rider cracks me the fuck up, poor useless bastard.

Honestly, itll be rough for any scene to pass up the Boros fight imo. That line about his armor that holds back his immeasurable power and Saitama is all just "k" and then the fight was brillianty animated. One of the best in any anime imo.

It's pretty funny how all these monsters act all tough and amazing and he's just like "please hurry up".

The scenes with King are definitely the highlight of season 2. It's pretty great how he keeps knocking out Garou without really noticing.

movies, television, and music don’t help with depression. They can actually make it worse. They are a distraction. They don’t solve the problem. Reality will follow you wherever you go. There is no true escape from it.
