surprised to hear that. Usually I'm the one trashing on action movies, the Fury Road was a rare gem that sticks out. I thought they did an amazing job creating a world. The costumes, the dialect, the scenery. Probably the best part was when Joe was warning the people not to get addicted to water.

Action isn't boring when it's used properly. Fallout was boring af. I literally couldn't finish it in a single sitting because I was so bored and literally gave no fucks about anything that was going on.

A friend talked me into going to the theater and I was forced to finish it in a single sitting. As you've already said, constant action doesn't equal excitement, that's not how it works.

They failed to make anyone in the film interesting, the story wasn't engaging and even some of the effects seemed lazy. It was a very mediocre film and I was disappointed as I did at least enjoy the previous installment.

all remakes and most trash.

Jurassic world and mad max fury road. Both came out in same summer and both were good remakes. All other movies have been pretty much trash.

This new(ish) idea that each film has to be bigger and more extreme than the last one is really killing action movies tbh.

John Wick 2 (Good follow up to a great action movie)

Might add I have not seen many action movies lately, but JW2 would likely still be there.

Fallen Kingdom is one of the worst blockbusters in a long time. It was Transformers Age of Extinction bad. The first one wasn't a good movie, but it was enjoyable enough and they did a decent enough job reviving a dead franchise.

I honestly can't believe they're letting them make a third one after how horrible that movie was. I literally laughed multiple times throughout the movie because of how bad it was.

Wait, Transformers are still a thing? I know they made one with Marky Mark but it looked boring so I didn't watch it. You telling me there is more?

They made two with Mark Wahlberg lol and then they just did the Bumblebee movie for a total of 6 Transformers movies and they're planning yet ANOTHER Marky Mark one and a sequel to Bumblebee. The Bumblebee one wasn't terrible, but it wasn't anything special either and I have no fucking clue why the ratings on it were so overwhelmingly positive.

i'm not a big fan of transformer but john wick was pretty cool
