Just finished it. That was actually pretty damn good. Makes me look forward to Cd projekt red's cyberpunk 2077 coming out in the near future. Little bit of deus ex, and bladerunner music style thrown in as well.
I think it would've worked well as a series instead of a movie if they elaborated on the upgraded soldiers and how they came to be, I was expecting more out of them. Plus what the hacker said had some potential.
I hope they decide to do a sequel. What's even more amazing is that it was low budget, but didn't feel like it at all.

They made about 8-9 million profit off just the box office, there is a chance we will see a sequel. I still love how the ending of the movie I don't wanna spoil for others who may read into this, that ending was solid. with the low budget I am gonna give this movie a 8/10.

Must watch for 2018 movies.

The scene where he said "I am doing nothing" i figured something big was going go to go down, but I wasn't expecting that. So I loved the ending.

The first second he was talking to STEM, it was bad news. Twisted little twist in the end to.

If you can get past trash acting, dialogue, plot development and cheesy lines it's an ok film

Did you actually finish it?

Knock off Tom Hardy did a phenomenal job I thought, he killed it in the majority of his scenes. There were a few moments of wtf? That line doesn't fit that character at all.... Which just seemed like bad writing, but then it came around at the end of the movie that there was a reason for certain people acting against what would be natural.

This was a lot better than I thought it would be. I was delightfully entertained from start to finish and those last few minutes made me smile like an idiot. It was so perfect, sinister as all hell, but perfect.

Eron had created Stem some time ago and either implanted it into himself or had it in a system that eventually gained access to the open net. I would guess that Eron had been being controlled by Stem for at least a few years. Stem probably made his company as powerful as it was and it may have even leaked tech to Colbat so that they would build those soldiers, knowing he'd need to utilize them later. He never had a choice. You can make up your own reason for how/why Eron's balls were in a vice-grip by Stem, but the whole point and only way the ending makes sense is that they were.

There are a few holes here and there that can be picked at, but most of them can be answered by assuming the ultra-smart AI probably had a contingency plan in place. For instance, why the fuck didn't Eron just break Stem when transferring it? How did the most powerful AI ever get beaten by inferior Colbat tech and had it not been for his human operator he would have died? That one was probably the biggest fuck up on their part that I noticed, but with that one exception, you can assume Stem had a way of fucking over Eron and destroying his life if his orders weren't fired precisely.
