I just can't stomach network shows, and I loathe when amazing hard R-rated source material is taken and adapted for public television viewers. The bad acting, plot-holes, horribad CGI, and everything else that comes with network television could be overlooked by me if only they'd give a proper fucking ending. Execs refuse to let shows die while they're still worth watching, and because of that formula, it also forces lazy and pointless writing to continue the story after what should have been a satisfying conclusion.
I am grateful that so many companies are beginning to give creators more creative control. We're in the golden age of shows/movies, and there are so many wonderful shows worth watching that I can't spend my time watching 9 seasons of nothing happening lol.
