Dubs are just terrible in general. The only dubs that work are the old Chinese martial arts films because they are just comical. In an intense drama or something I find it off-putting.

Or in cartoons, like the swedish version of the Lion King is actually perfectly done!

Cartoons are different because matching the speech to the mouth movements can actually be done if you put enough effort in, you just have to find tenanted voice actors.

Another issue with English dubs is most English voice actors are fucking terrible, and the ones that aren't, aren't fucking wasting their time on dub roles.

The rain on the other hand just wasn't that good. It had a great idea and a good start, but the whole plot is predictable and completely unoriginal.

I agree 3% is worth watching. One of the better Netflix originals.

3% is really good. I haven't watched the new season yet though.
