That or he has a genious marketing team amd is raking it in from single book sales, single season sales and all the idiots buying incomplete box sets.

The hype created by the tv show would ensure the next book in the series to be his best selling book of all time. The only reason he can possibly have to have not released it is that he cant finish it without it sucking ass. The guy already has tons of money he doesnt need a good marketing strat. He wont live long enough for that to matter anyway. He is passionate about writing and having a book sell on the level that this one would will be the highlight of his writing career. At this point in his success that should matter far more to him than then money he makes that doesnt even need. Literally no reason to not release other than its a pile of shit he cant fix.

I assume he has been waiting for the best time, when everyone isn't super hyped over the tv show premier, to release Wins of Winter. Somewhere I had read he plans to release the new book Q1/2 2018 so the show may be delayed just to sell more books in the mean time. Much easier to get people excited about a book when there isn't a new season premier in the following months.

Dude has been saying it would come out soon for like 3 years. Stop acting like he has a plan.
