Right there with you buddy. These shows are unbearably bad to me. Same caliber as The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men imo.

I can't imagine a world where TBBT would be unbearably bad, when there countless worse sitcoms and other shows out there.

I enjoy it, and its theming and use of comedy has been more original to me than others, along with being incredibly creative. It's But that's just me...


I can't really contribute to this thread. I'm not sure I can recall any show that got better after sucking. It's likely that if I started a show and it sucked, I wouldn't have continued it.

I guess I could say The Office. It didn't "suck" in the beginning, I just didn't give it a fair chance until I met my girlfriend who rewatches it several times each year. Before that, I had found it odd, but after watching it in full, it's quite marvelous.

The American remake?

Good show, good answer for me too - The first season was almost a like for like copy of the original and it didn't work that well. Show really took off after season two and never looked back. Was great.
