Its more than just using the 'Jumanji' name and ruining such a classic...... its the fact that Hollywood thinks they can take The Rock, add a bunch of bullshit CGI and explosions, and consider it a good product.

meanwhile there are hundreds of scripts getting passed over, all these movies getting passed over. Luckily there are smaller studios out there that make good movies. And actually handfulls of A-list actors that are into making GOOD movies and will work with those studios, and not just be money grabbing whores.

I can't think of one good movie the rock was in.
So why do so many people want to see his crapl movies

Central Intelligence was great and the rock stole the show in that, alongside arguably more talented actors.

It is unfair to assume, without seeing the movie. It could very well be a fun family adventure movie, which is what it should aim for. You have to understand there are multiple different audiences to aim towards, not all movies can be oscar worthy amazingly well written classics. And they shouldn't be, that would be boring as fuck.

The original was good how it was good for young audience n old audience... maybe a sequel 10-20 years later would have been great but this is just a money grabbing remake... dumb teenagers seriously? If it was a horror movie it would be ok since some will die but in this case its gonna be shit i know i shouldnt say that be4 seeing but the last decade of shit remake isnt gonna change since the name atracts people

its kinda interesting to see how far Dwayne Johnson's career has some

started out as basically an easter egg in a Mummy movie, just a ploy to get wrestling fans in the door

now he's getting every prime role that comes out and, by the looks of it, knocking on the door of an oscar nomination
