Are you guys actually excited for this? Not trying to bash anyone, I'm just legitimately confused because I thought something that looks this horrible (to me, I know now that this isn't a popular opinion) would be met with only negativity. TBBT is pretty awful and it has only gotten worse. Spinoffs are ALWAYS 10x worse than the original, especially when it's coming from a major network.
I watched like 7 or 8 seasons because the wife loved it. She acknowledged in the second season that it was terrible, but that she just liked it and I'll watch whatever she likes so she's obligated to watch one of my shows later. Eventually, it got so bad that even she couldn't tolerate it anymore and I thankfully haven't watched an episode in years.
It wasn't the worst show I've been forced to watch since being with my wife, but it was certainly one of the dumbest ones.
TBBT is awesome, and is growing even more so as the characters are all maturing. It's one of the few comedies where characters aren't forever frozen in time.
As for sequels... Xena was better than Hercules, angel was comparable to Buffy. Good spin-off series have happened before even if it was 20 years ago.
However, I'm more interested on learning why I'm blocked from seeing the trailer
