An Oscar should be based on quality, not what values they presented. I liked Moonlight but it did not deserve any kind of award. Hidden Figures was a much better film as was Manchester By The Sea.
Edit: Oh wow just remembered Nocturnal Animals was in this year as well, that was a better film as well.
