How is it anti Christian? How does it say men are evil? Or doctors? Or corporations?

There is one specific bad guy, one specific bad corporation, one specific bad girl one specific bad ai. There aren't messages they are just characters. You are trying to find meaning where there isn't any. The movie is about action+zombie killing and it fulfills that perfectly.

The movies/timeline/plot/secondary characters, none of that makes any sense at all, but there is glorious zombie monster killing and it is great.

1. Why would they make the main bad guy a Christian, and more than one occasion choose to show Christian crosses thru out the movie to reiterate that message? Honestly why even put that in a resident evil movie at all? It had no place being in the movie. They guy is dressed as a priest.
Do you think the fact that they made him a Christian added anything to the substance of an already trash movie? Did it add a lot of depth to his character.. lol THE MOVIE COULD HAVE DONE WITH OUT IT... BUT THEY DECIDE TO MAKE IT AN EMPHASIS OF THE CHARACTER? REPETEDLY?

2. EVERY SINGLE MALE IN THE MOVIE. every single one. was either a bad guy, or had no major role in the movie and was ultimately killed. EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. ONE.
my favorite line in the movie. Alice is fighting that one Asian bad guy, and hes kinda kicking her ass, this is the exact line from the movie as I remember it. "You're fast, but you are not very smart..." and then she proceeds to blast him away with the triple barrel shotgun..

3. They been kinda using this Umbrela is an evil corporation thing and I know its part of the movie. But when it kinda goes into that meeting room scene. and the guy is describing, oh lets start the apocalypse because oh you know, famine, global warming, etc etc is all inevitable..
just plays into this theme of corporations are evil... and the rich people who run them are all evil. They are going down the hive... all those cryo tubes... the high up's of umbrella, the rich, the wealthy ones... they are the ones who cause this, they are evil.

4. Even the red queen... who is an ai 'girl' but can be seen as evil in past movies... is some how portrayed as oh... I ultimately make the right decisions to help save humanity, so I'm good. AGAIN PLAYING INTO THIS NARATIVE... all girls are powerful, smart, and ultimately right while all men are evil.
THE RED FUCKING QUEEN.... IS ULTIMATELY A GOOD CHARACTER LOL...

5. Doctors. "Doctor" Issacs ... the main villain in the movie. The other guy. "Doc" the guy who supposedly their friend and trying to help them, but in the end he ultimately betrays Alice and turns out to be evil. I mean, why is it the "doctor" who is the main evil bad guy. Why is it another "doctor" who is trying to help them but ultimately trying to sabotage them and kill them... Why couldn't it just been a random girl... or just a random guy... but NO. Lets make sure its a male. Lets make sure everyone knows hes another bad Doctor, heck we will even call him "Doc" in the movie and have him be a bad guy. They go out of their way to put this subtle idea that doctors are evil...


All this on top of repetitive , mediocre zombie killing... most of it was so fake and unbelievable. ( oh looks like at least 100,000+ zombies are coming maybe a million are coming, we have no weapons, "we have gas tho" lol give me a fucking break..)

All of this was "The Final Chapter" ... just a disgraceful piece of trash that I spent $12 to see in theaters, 14 for soda and popcorn.. and about 2 hours of my life I will never get back..

I was coming in expecting so see the final chapter as a resident evil fan, what I got was politicized garbage.. nothing more.

Instead of spending $26 to see a movie once, why don't you spend $20 or less on the blu Ray when it comes out and have the opportunity to see it more than once. Use this logic with any movie.

Stop complaining about your bad spending habits and be smarter with your money.

Maybe people enjoy going to the movies for the whole experience... I can view a movie in surround sound on a screen as wide as my whole apartment rather than a 17" computer screen or a tv...

Ok even though it actually hurt to read what you had to type, because just wow, let me break this down for you (although I am not even convinced you watched this movie after reading your idiotic post.)

1) Why does it matter if he is or isn't religious to you? It isn't anti-christian at all, and in fact it serves his character a lot. He believes the world needs to be cleansed because humans are destroying it, he likens himself to God and his plague to the 40 days of rain. The fact that his character is christian/religious makes A LOT of sense. Plus considering he is literally the only insane religious person I don't think you can call it "anti-christian" plus the one who was super super religious was the clone. And what was said at the end of the movie by the real guy? Give them hope and they fight harder/better. He made the clone believe he was the real dude and gave him a religious purpose, essentially turned him into a zealot which made a lot of sense in the context of the movie. Not anti-anything.

2) There were plenty of good males in the movie/franchise as a whole, the fact that you think they are all bad is probably a personal problem. And obviously every man that had a major role was evil, its because there was literally ONE of them and there has been only one since the first fucking movie. Alice is the only girl with a major role, the bad guy is the only guy with a major role. All other characters are secondary and there are plenty of good and bad ones.

3) Umbrella is a shit corporation, that is all I have to say. If you are trying to say that this movie is trying to push some "anti-corporation" agenda why is umbrella literally the only one ever mentioned? Umbrella is a shit corporation that want sto rule the world, of course it is run and controlled by shit people. Plus if you were 1 person on a board of a company that was powerful enough to end the fucking world would you rather speak up and be killed or ride it out? I can liken this to Nazi Germany, if you think every single person in Nazi Germany wanted genocide you are an idiot and need to learn a thing or two about psyche. Either way that is getting a bit off point.

4) If you were paying any attention at all you would know that the Red Queen was not even close to being a good character, nor was she bad. She was a fucking AI doing what she was told to do 90% of the time and the other 10% of the time was spent trying to kill the main bad guy because of a flaw in her coding. Saving the humans wasn't her goal, it was a bribe for Alice because she needed Alice's help.

5) Once again there are a TONNE of doctors in the RE movies, good and bad. What about the doctor that made the T-virus to save his daughter, or the doctors that made the anti-virus? Or the doctor that wanted to shut the program down? They evil as well? The main villian probably isn't even a medical doctor, he probably just has a doctorate in something like technology or whatever. Actually he very obviously isn't a medical doctor, look at all the technology he made to enhance his own body, clearly he has a ph.d in some sort of tech field. The fact that you assume he was medical and the movie was trying to push some anti-med doctor agenda is fucking absurd.

Everything you call "anti-x agenda" is you looking way to far into the MINIMAL character development this series has and not paying attention to when most of it is actually explained as to why it is like that.

Edit: Like I said the movie wasn't supposed to be extremely well written or something fantastical. It is exactly what it was supposed to be, which is mila jovovich kicking some zombie/clone ass and trying to defeat umbrella. Lots of shaky cam action and random scenes with bio weapon creatures that look awesome for the 5 seconds you get to see them. Thats what you should have went into the movie wanting to see because that is basically all those movies promise to give, and this one gave just that.

Wow.. Just watched the new XXX.. nothings ever than the original..

I went in with low expectations and was still blown away by how garbage this film was.

You went to the movies and wasted your money to "enjoy" a movie that everyone knew was going to suck.

I'm sorry you can afford anything better than a 17" screen. Life must be hard for you.

Instead of wasting your money on crappy movies and extremely overpriced food and drink, you should save your money for a larger home.
