I thought the movie was PHENOMENAL.


We all knew exactly what the story was going into the movie. It could be safe to say, we have had enoughof The Death Star, but it's such an important weapon in the universe.




Whenever any scene included KS20, i always thought of Sheldon Cooper.

I can't think of anything I would have done differently, though I was a little surprised Saw didn't have more screen time.




With each trilogy, we had three movies to identify the characters with. That's not the case with this one. What made Chirrut the ONLY character you enjoyed?

nah, i don't know. I guess just knowing that none of them would be relivent beyond the context of this movie made me care less.

Yeah man and he bossed his scenes. When i first saw him i wondered if he'd cross paths with Vader in this movie and get chopped down.

Dont get me wrong i'm a star wars fanboy so of course i enjoyed it. I'm just grateful the franchise is alive and kicking. Looking forward to episode 8, i'll be on the front lines defending it from the haters again.

Better than 1,2,7 at the very least.

The plot was a nice connection between movies.
Not super deep or anything. It just made sense so I was happy with it.

I agree. The story was overall a bit lacking, not overly interesting, but should still be pretty damn awesome for any Star Wars fan. It did have some amazing imagery & tie-ins to the originals which I loved. Forrest Whitaker did a good job.

& that final scene with Vader! Holy fuck batman, that was epic.

Now we wait a year for episode VIII



Hm, I missed that. Albeit the only Jedi still alive at this point are Yoda & Obi Wan
