It's actually in reference to our world and its situation. Politics and religion and shit. Nobody wins. Like right now in America. Trump fucking won, so we all lost... we'd still all lose even if Hillary won.

Jon snow being brought back to life seems strange considering the rest of the story. George has constantly said he doesn't like the whole "invincible hero" thing so I reckon he was brought back just to fuck with the fans a bit more.

I guess Daenerys but it seems too obvious. Wouldn't bet against the white walkers winning in the end.
