well if that was their intention then fair enough i guess..

I don't know if it was their intention, but like you point out the jokes and one liners didn't work

I feel the constant humour breaks meant I didn't get a feel of any suspense or 'feels' for how harrowing and bleak his situation really would have been.

I didn't think it was that bad I mean it wasn't Oscar worthy but it was an alright watch, but I do agree those one liners killed any type of connection they where trying to form with the character.



Vasyas been a reg for years and will still be one after you depart this sf smh...

I didn't say anything about vasya kid

It was a fun movie, it fulfilled its purpose imo.

If I were to define the movie in one word, it would be unambitious. They missed the opportunity of making a "realistic" well documented and thought provoking movie like Interstellar. They missed the opportunity of making an intense movie about isolation like Cast Away. This movie could have been great if they had tried to risk going in one of these directions because the plot had all the needed ingredients, but they decided to go for an easy mild entertainment route that would combine some aspects of both. Over all a decent movie that doesn't fail due to it's conservative approach, but left me with the feeling that it could have been much better if the director had been more ambitious.

The comedy was bad indeed though.

Movie was ok, nothing spectecular but not a waste of time.

cause that's kind of weird given how down the middle it was.
