For 1 specific example the old man in the first trailer was just beating the recruits to train them to not break under interrogation. In the second trailer the blind old man is more like "how can we shoehorn in a definitely not Jedi fighter that definitely isn't using a lightsaber that just hasn't been edited to glow" and he beats the crap outta storm troopers like some non-midget Yoda.

That's a one example, the trailer has killed my excitement, whether the movie is good or bad is another seperate thing. The trailer is, in my opinion, worse than the teaser+ first trailer.

No, you're just exaggerating and nit-picking.

You asked, I answered. I could go through every single scene in the trailer and explain why it is bad(for a trailer) and how almost every part was a major turn off if I'd think you'd listen. But you obvjously just pretend to want to converse, all you really want is to have people say things so you can disagree and argue without putting up any counter points.

The trailers show similar footage and often the same footage. The second trailer introduces some vague filler footage showing different landscapes. Most of the new scenes don't give away too much in reference to why the character is at that specific location.

Music is spot on.


The only negative about the new trailer was the use of rather boring and too straight-forward dialogue causing it to seem rather emotionless.


Other than that, you're nitpicking.

The entire way it is cut together is terrible, it has a lot if scenes not in the first trailer and the entire tone shifts so often it doesn't make any sense, nor does it inspire any feelings of excitement, or anything else really. It is cringey and the blind (we promise totally not really a Jedi)old man isn't even the worst part.

The teaser trailer was amazing, so much better than this shit full length trailer in every way possible.
