Same writer/creator for both S1/S2...

I said director. You can write a great script, it's worthless without a good director. Cary Fukunaga worked magic in s1.

S2 also had a weak cast in comparison to S1. The bar was set way too high with Woody and Matthew. The dude who directed season 2 is the director from the fast and furious movies, says a lot.

A director can also ruin the source material (even if it is an amazing director), look at Natural Born Killers vs True Romance. As long as the original author's opinion is valued and put into action, you're going to get something decent. The story just wasn't nearly as strong as the 1st season. It was directed just fine... Pretty sure you just don't have a clue what you're talking about.

It had bad writing and it had bad direction, it was an all around shit show, it was not received well by fans or critics, largely for those very reasons, quit suckin it.
