movie sucked

We're in the dark ages of cinema right now.

So many classics are having their legacies stained by cheap cookie cutter sequels/remakes that are pushed out to make some quick cash. I had high hopes for this

That's silly. Great films are still great films. New remakes and sequels does not change anything about the originals.

I didn't care about the characters. The whole scene on the moonbase was pointless because I didn't care if anyone there lived or died. The film dangerously waded into territory where I almost wanted the aliens to win because the humans were boring me to death.

Original film worked because Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum were big name actors at their peak.

Agreed. I will go back and watch the old movies.

Maybe Suicide Squad will save the day.

Brent Spiner was the only good part (he's my great uncle's, wife's nephew) so i am always looking forward to him. He is kindof a jerk irl though, my father said he wouldn't even send him an autograph for some real estate deal my dad was trying to close back in the 90s, even though we saw him every coupl4years at family reunion in Texas

The first one was awful, I don't even want to imagine how bad this one has turned out.

my kids liked it and so did I...not the worst movie
