The concept would have had potential, say if they had use the past/future timelines to show how what he experienced one place is being applied to the other. They could have given the character some depth.

The trailer makes it look like they just duct tape whatever weak plot they will need in order to have an excuse to explain the flashy action sequences they want.

Looks bad and will not watch.

Also, never played an AC game.
