Oh shit, caught the finale finally. That was crazy.

Seven episodes in.

Book is definitely better, but it's actually quite enjoyable. Would probably be a bit lost if I hadn't read them.

Man I didn't know it was the finale, why do all shows feel the need to cliffhang so freaking hard.

Don't know, but as far as finales go, that was pretty intense. It's been renewed, we'll have to wait until 2017.
From the looks of things, they took some characters and storylines from book 2 and remixed it into book 1.
So it'll be interesting to see where they take it.
