Diablo 3 is garbage. No PvP and the state at its release was one of the worst games ever aside from first completion (for the story).
WoW is garbage. Countless MMOs are way better.
Starcraft 2 is only good for UMS (actual game has been imbalanced garbage)
HOTS is garbage. Easiest game on the planet. One dimensional.
Hearthstone is 100% casual and you don't even pay attention to the game when you're playing. They are only now attempting to balance it with the upcoming standard mode.

Overwatch MIGHT end up being good.
But I'm not hopeful.

1. How is diablo 3 garbage? Honestly, it's added so many intuitive ideas and the amount of build possibility are ENDLESS. The ONLY game in the genre that might takes it's spot in the throne is LOST ARK.
2. How is WoW garbage? It continues to stay strong despite massive changes made to the game. Every game CLAIMING to be the "wow killer" has failed. I play FF14 and I do like a LOT of aspects better than WoW, but there are certainly many aspects of wow I enjoy more then FF14. I would refrain from saying "countless mmos are better", this is simply not the case.

One of your biggest issues seems to be balancing......which i understand, however, I find balancing issues in nearly every multiplayer game I play.


You still are ignoring the business aspect of the the company. They are a brilliant success.

You also are forgetting about COUNTLESS games that are released every month by various companies that are TRULY garbage with no imagination or intuitive thought.

FF14 is garbage too.
2.5 second global cooldown? Talk about boring and slow.

Just because a game has a large player base does not mean it is a really good game.
Most people are fairly ignorant or careless as to other games. Blizzard markets their games like crazy and uses their brand to lure people in. People will play their games even if there are 10 better ones available.

I don't really care how much money they make.
I'm judging the actual quality of the game.

Did you know that for like 6 months, Protoss literally had a free win over Terran?
The balance was so bad that Protoss had like a 90% win rate over Terran. That's not just a "balance issue" that's a balance catastrophe.

I didn't say that. Don't manipulate my words. However, going with that, player count can be generally a good indication of success, replay value, and popularity.


ff14 is not garbage. The community is great, it has TONS of lore, the graphics are amazing, the market is fair and balanced, pvp is alright, glamour is addicting and being able to have all class/jobs on character is awesome. 2.5 GCD isn't really that bad once you have a maxed out job, you're always using skills.
My two biggest disappointments with the game however is the stats are way too simple and every job ends up the same. There's no unique builds.



.....I'm pretty sure this is a dead end conversation, you simply think every game is garbage.

I do think vanilla WoW was pretty good though
Even though I kind of got bored of it due to already having MMO experience (WoW mostly just copied other games so I didn't get much new)
They actually had difficult content and the game felt.. decently fluid.

But the game has gotten worse and worse every year since its release.

Which is why I say Blizzard hasn't made a good game in over a decade.



The term "wow killer" refers to player base.
So indirectly that is what you are saying.
And no, based on your tastes, there are a lot of really good games out there.

FF14 barely offers much aside from lore (which only a small amount of people ever care about)
It's slow, easy, and I can eat supper while playing its hardest content while I wait for my 2.5 second GCD and stationary boss fights.

You have no idea what my tastes are. I buy like 1-2 games a year because i don't have interest in most games.


Wow Killer does NOT refer to player base......

I'm saying there are great games for everyone, based on that person's taste in games.
Could probably help you find one.

And yes it does. It purely refers to player base. It means to take players from WoW to another game so that it becomes more popular, thus killing the WoW player base.

I misunderstood what you meant by player base. I thought the term wow killer was obvious so im not sure why you brought it back up.

I've tired myself out of gaming. I've played mmos for so long, and unsubscribed from FF14 this month. I always seem to play BF3 and WC3. I have like 5 games for PS4.

I had interest in Black Desert, but I don't think i'll pick it up.

I'm praying phantasy star online 2 comes to the U.S

And i'm hoping Lost Ark turns out as good as it looks.

I would agree that it is top in terms of money and player amount.
But when you break it down to the actual game itself (content, mechanics), everything after Vanilla+1st expansion is complete and total garbage.
